Computer Science Engineering provides the opportunity to work in the continually changing information technology sector. With the development of faster hardware components, new communication systems and software there is a need for computer engineers. Computer engineering students study the design of digital hardware and software systems. Computer Engineering encompasses a wide range of topics including operating systems, computer architecture, computer networks, robotics, artificial intelligence, and computer-aided design.

COURSE OBJECTIVES & FACILITIES

The Computer Science Engineering is a 4 year course under the aegis of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). The undergraduate programme in computer science and engineering is essentially aimed at developing a student with excellent programming and system related competencies in Computer Science and Information Technology with indepth knowledge over the domains of Interests and Demands of IT Industry. Teaching is focused on systems programming as well as application programming.

I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.

The department has experienced significant growth over the last few years, with strong groups in theory, systems, graphics/media, programming languages, computational science, security, AI, and other contemporary technologies. Faculty maintain strong ties with many reputed national and international companies and are involved in a large number of projects in the forefronts of cutting edge technology.

The Department is equipped with the state of the art facilities. There are 5 well equipped Labs consisting of 700 computers with high configuration connected with High Speed network. A Central facility lab with 60 Computers connected in LAN with 8Mbps broadband internet connectivity, allows the students to access information. The Department provides research & development Lab.
